B.C. businesses, Indigenous nations and local governments can access new rebates for zero-emission fleet assessments and infrastructure.

The recently announced  CleanBC Go Electric Fleets Program  aims to support fleets in their transition to light-duty zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) by providing training, advisory services, and financial supports. B.C. Fleets can access rebates for ZEV readiness assessments, infrastructure assessments and upgrades as well as the purchase and installation of charging infrastructure to support the future of their fleets. For a limited time, eligible fleets can access enhanced rebates for the Go Electric Fleets program.

Funded by the Province and administered by Fraser Basin Council Society (FBC), the program supports fleets in British Columbia in their efforts toward deploying Zero-Emission vehicles by offering technical and financial support through:

1. Resources and tools via the  West Coast Electric Fleets Toolkit ,
2. Training sessions and webinars,
3. Zero-emission Vehicle (ZEV) Fleet Advisor,
4. Rebates for ZEV Fleet Assessment,
5. Rebates for Facility Assessment,
6. Rebates for Electrical Infrastructure,
7. Rebates for the purchase and installation of charging stations.

Background on the CleanBC Go Electric Program

CleanBC Go Electric fleets is one of a suite of new programs offered under the Province of British Columbia’s CleanBC Go Electric programming formerly known as the Clean Energy Vehicle Program. The CleanBC Go Electric Programs are designed to reduce barriers to the adoption of zero-emission vehicles to realize both their environmental and economic benefits.  CleanBC Go Electric  includes programs focused on electric vehicle public awareness, rebates for zero-emission vehicles and chargers, targeted investments in public charging, hydrogen fueling stations, zero-emission fleets and commercial transport, as well as jobs training and economic development.
