im体育App is a program of the Fraser Basin Council and works in collaboration with government, industry, academic institutions, EV owners, NGOs and utilities to advance the uptake of electric vehicles in British Columbia.
Our Team

Inger Miller
Program Manager, Sustainable Transportation
Inger is the Program Manager for Sustainable Transportation in the Fraser Basin Council’s Climate Change and Air Quality Program, supporting electric vehicle initiatives under the im体育App program.
Prior to joining FBC, Inger worked in the commercial transportation sector as a Policy Analyst at the BC Trucking Association. She was a member of the Sustainable Transportation Action Research Team and has co-authored research articles on consumer perceptions of battery electric vehicles.
Inger holds a Master of Resource and Environmental Management from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.

Mahdis Araujo
EV Advisor
Mahdis is an EV Advisor with the Fraser Basin Council’s Climate Change and Air Quality Program, supporting electric vehicle initiatives under the Plug In BC program. As an EV Advisor, Mahdis lends support to a range of audiences on electric vehicle and charging applications, contributes to the design and refinement of the province-wide EV incentive program, and assists her team on parallel Plug In BC initiatives.
Prior to joining FBC, Mahdis worked at the City of Port Coquitlam as a Program Ambassador and Special Events Lead, where she designed and executed sustainable community programs and produced large-scale civic and community events.
Mahdis holds a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University, Major in Political Science, and a Design Management Certificate from Emily Carr University.

Mary Barrientos
Program Administrator
Mary Barrientos is the Program Administrator, Sustainable Transportation Program with the Fraser Basin Council’s Climate Change and Air Quality Program, supporting the Specialty Use Vehicle Incentive Program. As Program Administrator, Mary provides support in tracking and approving received applications for SUVI, responds to inquiries related to SUVI applications, provides quarterly financial analysis and regular updates on data received in the program.
Mary started as a volunteer for the Fraser Basin Council to provide administrative support in the Finance department. Shortly, she was offered a part-time and eventually a full-time position to join the team as a Finance and Administrative Coordinator. She also processed applications on previous programs related to EV incentives delivered by FBC.

Afarin Tavasoli
Program Administrator
Afarin is a Program Administrator supporting the Specialty Use Vehicle Incentive program. Prior to joining the team, Afarin worked with North Shore Kia as a Warranty Coordinator and as Assistant Manager, Marketing with OSL Careers. Afarin has a major in interior design, and she is a professional painter. Her passion is to try and make whatever she sees, and interacts with, more beautiful and unique. She loves dogs and has a cute snow-white dog named Fidel.

Michael Stanyer
Program Coordinator
Michael contributes to communications and social media, and also assists with events. Before joining the team, he was a volunteer Emotive Ambassador. He is keen to share the journeys that EV owners take: from island get-aways to epic road trips in the Rockies. Whether at events, through social media or web articles, Michael looks forward to connecting with EV owners, and the EV curious, to discuss the exciting new possibilities that electric vehicles bring to travelling in BC. Before joining the im体育App team, Michael worked on digital media and public outreach in the BC tourism industry.
